Service and fees

nedanavi is a free service for searching public prices on Japanese shopping sites. We do not sell products or handle orders or payments.
We charge users nothing, take no commission or advertising fees from shops, and use no affiliate links.

The current source is the Rakuten Ichiba item search API; the Yahoo! Shopping API is shown only when enabled. Each shop’s page is authoritative for price and stock.
The Amazon link only opens Amazon’s search page; we do not fetch Amazon data and it is not an affiliate link.
Currency conversions use the Taiwan Futures Exchange daily reference rates (Open Government Data License v1, Taiwan) and, for Korean won and Thai baht, European Central Bank (ECB) euro reference rates. They are reference values, not bank rates. Tax-free estimates are approximate and apply only to in-store purchases at tax-free shops.
Rakuten results are kept on our servers (including the CDN) for at most one hour and never written to a database; Yahoo results are not kept.

There is no sign-up and we do not collect names or email addresses. We use no cookies that identify visitors, no ad tags and no analytics.
Your shopping list is stored only in your browser (localStorage) and is never sent to us.
To limit repeated access we record IP address and time, and delete them after about one day.
On pages other than Japanese, keywords written in kanji, Hangul or Thai without kana are sent, keyword only, to an AI model via Vercel AI Gateway to turn them into Japanese. The Japanese pages never send keywords to AI. Keywords that look like personal data are never sent.
